CAST:
MAIN CAST ROLE – This means you are interested in a prominently featured acting role with more than one line of dialogue and possibly appearing in multiple scenes.
Please be advised that this will most likely require more than one non-concurrent day on set. Some acting experience is suggested for individuals interested in a main cast role, please give us a brief description of your experience in the message.
SUPPORTING CAST ROLE – This means you are interested in acting in a small or medium role with one or two lines of dialogue, most likely appearing in one scene. This will
usually require one day on set, but please consider that filming a scene can take up to 6 or 8 hours and you may be asked to stay on set for the entire day.
EXTRA ROLE – This means you are interested in appearing in the film with very little or no dialogue, you will not be prominently featured on screen but still get to enjoy
the on-set experience. This is the suggested level of involvement for those who are uncertain of their schedule or ability to commit.
CREW:
MAIN CREW – This means you would like to learn how to operate equipment and you are ready to commit to working on set for multiple, non-concurrent days. No experience is
necessary, we will train you on how to use equipment. Please be advised that a typical day of filming can exceed 10 or 12 hours with considerable physical strain.
SUPPORTING CREW – This means you are interested in working with the crew, but cannot commit to more than a few days on set. This includes a wide range of roles, such as
equipment operators and production supervisors– any and all skills can be utilized on-set, please be sure to mention any particular strengths or talents you possess in your message.
ADDITIONAL CREW – This means you would like to help out for a day on set or do some pre-production work in your own time before filming begins, including grant writers and graphic designers. Ideal for individuals who want to participate, but don’t feel comfortable being on set for filming.
